Content creation is in the spotlight today… having a robust and reliable content strategy is a MUST if you want to maximize your social ROI (and you do!). In this workshop session I’ll help you plan and prep a month’s worth of dazzling posts for your socials when you get home, and teach you the framework you need to show up like a megastar online all year long.

Today’s lunch sees us in an elegant vintage-style bar that pays homage to Madrid bars of the 1950s – renowned for its mouthwatering tapas and chef-designed gourmet sandwiches, with artisan bread from the famous Sant Josep bakery that’s been creating crunchy deliciousness since 1912. Fun fact: they have a 50-year-old age minimum for their wait staff, so expect excellent service delivered with a smile and a twinkle in the eye.

Our first stop after lunch is the iconic Casa Mila – a wildly quirky Gaudi masterpiece which has to be seen to be believed – situated just a couple of blocks from our charming lunch venue. 

Then, we do something a little different…

Two of our amazing group will go on a freewheeling  “photo safari,”  exploring and playing in this spectacular city… all the while capturing a treasure trove of magic moments, using their newly honed phone photo/video skills.

For the other two, it’s photoshoot day! They’ll peel away with Amanda and me for a super fun and exciting pro photo session. (Tomorrow we swap it round – so everyone gets their chance to explore + “love the camera, baby!”). Either way, you’re receiving 30 stunning professionally retouched images for your marketing after you get home, that’ll have you bursting with excitement to shout your awesomeness from the rooftops!

And closing out our day, our star pick for dinner is a beloved Barcelona institution. The first time I visited Barcelona, three unrelated locals ALL recommended this one restaurant. Obviously, I had to check it out—and I was SO glad I did…

True confession: I’ve actually never been a huge fan of paella. But after this particular paella, in this particular restaurant,  I literally DREAMED about how great it was, and managed to squeeze in another visit before I left. Yep, it’s THAT good. You’re welcome, darling!

FYI: bringing this out-of-this-world, extraordinary vision to life has taken 142 years…SO FAR.

Also,  the majority of restaurants do not take bookings — so we may need to line up — and it can take a while. Mostly, they’re super efficient about it, but in the words of the inimitable Robert De Niro: It is what it is.

Having said that, as a general rule, dressing in light layers is ideal for this time of year. And personally, I prefer to cover up rather than have to constantly reapply sunscreen – if that’s you too, then a chic hat is a must.

El Prat Airport (BCN) is your gateway to the enchanting city of Barcelona, about a half-hour-ish ride from our gorgeous hotel. Your taxi will be pre-booked and your driver will meet you at the airport. Once you’ve collected your luggage from baggage claim, simply let me know by Whatsapp and I’ll take care of the rest.

One of the fun things we’ll be doing on this trip is eating and drinking like the locals. In Barcelona, eating and drinking is a way of life, a celebration of the city’s rich history and cultural heritage.

For native Barcelonans, dinner starts late, around 9pm, however many places open earlier to accommodate tourists. 

Also,  the majority of restaurants do not take bookings — so we may need to line up — and it can take a while. Mostly, they’re super efficient about it, but in the words of the inimitable Robert De Niro: It is what it is.
